square of any number from 40 to 50
eg: 43
step !: taking 50 as the base
step2: subtract 43 from base,i.e 50 = 7
step 3: square answer of step 2, i.e 7*7=49
step 4: write ans of step 3,i.e 49 as the last two digits **49
step 5: now subtract the ans of step 2 from the main digit,i.e 43 - 7 = 36
step 6: divide by two/ halve the ans of step 5, i.e 36/2 = 18, are the first two digits
step 7: hence the answer is 1849

simple ryt

now lets try for squaring the numbs b/w 90 to 100
eg. 96
step 1: same as for the above procedure, square the difference of 96 from 100, the base, i.e 4*4 = 16, our required last two digits
step 2: now subtract the difference, 4 from 96,i.e 92, now like earlier no need to divide by two just write this as the first digits
step3: hence the answer is 9216
much better ryt
